February 7, 2019 — Acadia Senior Living, LLC is retained by an Atlanta-based not-for-profit developer of affordable multi-family communities to provide site selection services in Louisiana. The not-for-profit client intends to construct multi-family developments for the elderly.
Based on guidelines in the 2019 Final Qualified Allocation Plan as provided by the Louisiana Housing Corporation, ASL was able to identify two sites that met the client’s development criteria and which achieved high enough scores to be awarded low-income housing tax credits (LIHTCs) in the Spring of 2020. Ground-breaking for both communities is projected for the Fall of 2020 and construction is expected to be completed within 12 months for both developments.
